Alone. Everyone had to get away from it all once in a while and for a young miss Drake this time happened basically everyday. Sometimes people needed to get away from it all, experience silence and relaxation to think things out. Those things that bothered people everyday just disappeared when Jessica was alone. It was a normal day except for the strangeness of her life since her fifteen birthday. Now in about a week she would turn sixteen and she had no plans which was totally horrible. One of the many thought she would mull over tonight, yes tonight, it was about eight o'clock and pitch black outside, well sort of. It is never really dark in New York city.
As she walked on the grounds of Duchesne, her school or torture chamber, which ever one you wanted to call it. All the same it was where she had to spend most of her life learning and studying. She was smart which was good for Jessica but if there was one thing she wanted to figure it was who her mother was. Whenever she brought it up her father switched the subject and she had a feeling he didn't have much an idea either. Maybe her mother would know what was going one with her but she doubted it.
She was wearing her sneakers, a red tee shirt with a jean jacket and jeans. It was a normal look for Jessica. As she walked a cold chill of air bushed past her and with a shiver she sighed and sat down under a oak tree which was silver in the dim moonlight. She loved living in New York since she had been most of her life but she wondered why her dad wanted to come to New York city when he could have come somewhere quieter but nope and then you get Jessica who is one of the toughest girls around in her opinion. She then looked up and stared into the endless darkness of night and of course no stars were visible because of the New York City lights.

'Such a lovely night for a walk' thought the southern belle as she rested her parasol on her shoulder as she walked in the moonlit night. She had to get out of the house for a while since she couldn't hear her thoughts. The twins were playing a new video game in their room (which as next to hers) that Darcy bought them, and he was holding a dinner party in the living room.
With such a ruckus going on in their lavish apartment, Suzette thought she would head down to stroll along the school grounds until everything was calm. It had been a big adjustment for her when they first moved. She went from living on open land in a picturesque setting, to a concrete jungle.
She was wearing a frilly, long sleeved in antique white blouse, a long bustle back skirt in brown, an antique white duster coat with brown gloves and boots. Her hair was in curls that were tie back with a brown ribbon.
Suddenly, a strong autumn wind blew which caused the parasol to be knocked from her hand. She hiked up her skirt a little to keep herself from chasing it. Once the wind died down, it blew up into an oak tree. When she approached, she frowned at first since she didn't know how to climb a tree, but then she noticed another person there.
"Excuse me, I'm terribly sorry, but could you help me get my parasol down" she asked in a soft, timid voice as she approached the other girl.

The night was calm and relaxing as always minding her own business in the middle of the night, how much fun now that Jessica thought about it., not really but it was part of who she was. The night was so much more relaxing then the day with her opinion with thst soft light and cool air, so relaxing. Oh well to bad that one of those autumn breezes which she found so relaxing seemed to be a nightmare for a girl who she thought surely was someone out of a old movie by the way she dressed, the skirt and everything. Jessica thought 'Oh my gosh this girl needs some fashion advice, or did she miss the memo that the nineteen thirties ended a while ago.' that was good old Jessica always with the quips.
Then the girl came over to her, just what she needed, a southern belle asking her for something, oh well it would give her something to do instead of reliving her entire life story. Jessica looked up at her and got up, she shrugged and said "Sure, why not." she had a very bored look on her face. She was good at tree climbing from when she was little and did it all the time. She jumped onto the tree, put her foot in one of the holes and climbed upward. She got onto a branch and swung to one higher. She got the parasol and jumped down landing on her feet perfectly. She handed it to the girl and said "My name is Jessica by the way." and with that she leaned against the tree.

Jack's ears perked when he heard people nearby. He sniffed the air and knew one of them to be of his blood but he really didn't know who. He looked around the corner to see some strange woman in a tree dressed even more differently than he ever would have thought. A parasol? What was THAT about? He merely rolled his eyes and watched in amusement. This could be interesting whether or not they noticed him there. He leaned against the wall casually watching as if he weren't even there. He'd let them have their business, whatever it was before deciding whether he should help or at least attempt a conversation with someone that wasn't Schuyler.

The cold night air brushed past Jessica making her shiver for a second, what she was wearing was warm but not warm enough for november in New York. Jessica looked at the girl and rolled her eyes, hwo could she wear a outfit like that in public? With that bit of attitude Jessica saw someone she hadn't seen before well Jessica being the outgoing type walked up to him and said in her normal tone of voice which was basicly emotionless she said "Hi there." short simple and to the point but she also reconized him from school.
